Our client adopts a hybrid working model of 2 days per week on site, and 3 working from home.
Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting monthly figures.
- Preparing, reviewing and processing journals and calculating accruals and prepayments.
- Analysing and authorising employee expenses, managing an online expenses portal.
- Supporting with preparing balance sheet reconciliations, bank balances and other financial controls.
- Assisting with annual auditing process, and year-end finalisation and balance preparation.
Your Profile:
- Part-qualified to newly qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
- Strong proven experience with month end financial reporting processes.
- Confident and self-motivated individual, with the ability to manage your own time effectively and work well under pressure and to deadlines.
- A team player, able to manage strong working relationships internally.
- Strong MS Excel skills and experience working with an ERP system are essential.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £35-45k dependant on experience plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays) and an employee bonus scheme.
