Senior Solicitor
Bexley
£55 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (3 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Solicitor within adult social care in Bexley. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Deputise for the Principal Lawyer, when required.
- Undertake research in respect of projects allocated by the Principal Solicitor/Lawyer
- Appear in court, tribunals, hearings, panels and Public Inquiries, as required.
- Attend committee meetings and provide advice to officers and member if required
- Ensure colleagues and clients are kept abreast of recent developments in the law and provide training to others.
The candidate:
- Must be a qualified lawyer in England and Wales
- Must be familiar with adult social care law
- Previous experience in a similar capacity for a local government is desirable
