This is a key appointment as the company looks to build on a significant change in direction and will provide the successful candidate with a superb role in a business that has real potential for extensive growth.

The Head of Commercial Operations will play a pivotal role in the overall leadership and management of the business.You will be responsible for driving commercial growth, optimising operations, and ensuring the seamless integration of both functions to meet strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in achieving operational excellence and commercial success.

Responsibilities of a Head of Commercial Operations:

  1. Commercial Leadership:
  • Lead strategies for revenue growth, market expansion, and new business opportunities.
  • Build key customer and supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  1. Operations Management:
  • Oversee production efficiency, manage key reports and partners, and drive operational improvements.
  • Ensure timely procurement, supplier management, and quality compliance with industry standards.
  1. Financial & Strategic Planning:
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and align strategies with the company's vision.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and certification standards.

Requirements for the role of Head of Commercial Operations:

  • Progressive experience in commercial and operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in textiles, or other manufacturing industries
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • with experience in building and developing high performing teams.
  • Proven track record in driving sales, improving operational efficiencies, and managing budgets.
  • Understanding of the textile manufacturing process, supply chain, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Proficiency in MRP system along with SAGE 200 experience desirable.
