Every day we provide homes and help communities to learn, manage their money, launch successful businesses and improve their employability. You'll provide a customer-focused financial inclusion service to help customers manage their finances and improve their financial capability avoiding legal action and potential eviction.

You'll provide advice and support in person and over the phone to customers relating to eligibility for Welfare Benefits including Housing Benefit/Universal Credit. Whilst helping customers to be confident in budgeting and managing their income and outgoings. With experience of handling case work, you'll be an advocate for clients when liaising with the DWP and other third parties. As a confident communicator, you'll work closely with our front line teams to identify individuals in need of the services the financial inclusion team provide.

You'll have knowledge and experience of provision of welfare benefits advice including relevant legislation such as Welfare Reform Act 2012 and will be accustomed to providing personal finance advice. Self-motivated and proactive, you'll be comfortable in delivering our Financial Inclusion courses on UC Managed migration and our Unlocking Your Home course to our customers.

Due to the nature of the role, you'll need a full driving licence.

Please note you must be available to work during the hours of 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday and Saturday 9am - 5pm. So that all One Manchester customers have access to this service.
