Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, set up, and maintain art equipment and materials for classes.
- Assist teachers and students during art lessons, providing technical support and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Manage and organise the art room, including inventory and ordering of supplies.
- Maintain and repair art equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
- Support in the setup of exhibitions and displays of students' artwork.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the art department.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Art Technician in an educational setting.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in handling various art materials and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed by the school.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
