HR Advisor

We are seeking a highly experienced HR Advisor to join this busy college, part of a medium size trust, to support the HR function.

As the first point of contact for employee relations queries, the HR Advisor's role will include:

  • Managing the full recruitment cycle from writing adverts and the resourcing process.
  • Advising managers on recruitment and selection strategies
  • Supporting HR Business Partners with capability investigations including grievances and disciplinary cases
  • Update the Single Central Record
  • Assisting with HR projects such as change management programmes

The successful HR Advisor will be educated to GCSE level with a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification or above.

Experience of working within an education setting is desirable. You must have a minimum of two years' experience providing generalist HR support and supporting middle managers advising on employment law issues.

On a personal note, the HR Advisor will possess good problem-solving skills, have the ability to deal with sensitive situations in a confidential manner coupled with strong data management and report writing skills.
