An International Multi-site group are looking for a Lease (IFRS 16) Accountant to join the team. This is an exciting time to be joining the business, as they have recently implemented a new leasing system and keen to get someone on board to continue improve the efficiencies and running of it. This will be an integral role within the business, getting involved in a number of ad hoc projects with various teams. Located in the heart of London, they offer hybrid working and plenty of growth opportunities.
What you will be doing:
- Ensure the effectiveness of the IFRS 16 consolidation process, assisting the systems team in ensuring it's robustness
- Subject matter expert for IFRS 16 and on hand for driving continuous improvements
- Key contact for auditors
- Partner with the Commercial team and provide an IFRS 16 insight on reports
- Ownership of 600 + leases and responsible for lease accounting process on a monthly basis
- Work closely with the transformation team on installing new consolidation tools
- Ad hoc project support
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Extensive knowledge of IFRS 16
- Previous experience working with multisite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to communicate with financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and previous experience using an ERP ideal
