This firm continues to go from strength to strength and, owing to continual growth, they are currently recruiting for an experienced RTA Paralegal with 1-2 years' paralegal experience as well as handling their own caseload, with supervision, to join their general Personal Injury Litigation team in Glasgow, on a full-time, permanent basis.

As well as securing compensation, which is vital due to the injuries sustained by these people, you will be responsible for guiding them through one of the most traumatic times in their lives – providing support, empathy and helping them find closure.

The General Personal Injury Litigation department (GPIL) is one of the firm's largest teams and help people affected by a wide range of cases, including:

Road Traffic

Employer' Liability

Occupier Liability

Public Liability

Fatal Accidents

Summary of Position:

A Client-focused PI pursuer paralegal, expected to investigate cases at pre-litigation stage, collect evidence, and assist principal fee earners with preparation of cases.

The post holder will be required to answer incoming enquires from clients and other stakeholders, prepare correspondence, preparing & drafting a variety of legal documents, assess the validity of claims by means of undertaking investigatory research and summarise & check legal documents for accuracy.

Experience:

  • Previous experience with litigating RTA cases
  • At least 1-2 years' paralegal experience and handling your own caseload is essential
  • Reparation Paralegal Qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous general Personal Injury experience is desirable.
  • You must have knowledge of the pre-litigation phase but litigation processes, court processes and RTA knowledge is beneficial.
