We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Manager to lead and manage QHSE standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to developing and supporting a proactive safety culture and a right first-time approach to all working practices throughout our business operations and wider supply chain.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Continually maintain, develop, and improve QHSE standards, including the management of QMS system and HSE Policy Manuals.
  • Develop and/or improve systems to standardise key processes and activities.
  • Lead the planning and implementation of process improvements that underpin business strategies.
  • Manage document control systems and records effectively.
  • Plan and manage departmental activities and resources to achieve business targets within allocated timeframes.
  • Conduct, evaluate, and report on audit findings, facilitating appropriate corrective and preventative actions with effective timely outcomes.
  • Assess training requirements and engage with all personnel to ensure adequate training in environmental, health, safety, and quality control matters.
  • Monitor QA performance to reduce the cost of quality within the business and increase customer satisfaction rates.
  • Ensure timely and successful closure of customer and internal complaints, produce quarterly summary assessments, and conduct presentations to highlight trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure effective Supply Chain performance and controls in partnership with the procurement and finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a QHSE Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental standards.
  • Experience in managing QMS systems and HSE Policy Manuals.
  • Ability to lead process improvements and manage document control systems.
  • Skilled in planning, conducting, and evaluating audits.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and train team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to enhance QHSE performance.
