Warehouse Goods In Team Leader

My client is an extremely well-established pharmaceutical wholesaler & distributor, and we are proud to support in their search for warehouse operatives to join their them at their site close to Doncaster.
You will work within the Logistics operations team in tandem with the Supervisors to ensure the safe, legal and efficient receipt and put-away of all products, maintaining an ever-present focus on adherence and H&S compliance and achieving all shift objectives.
Hours: Monday-Friday 08:30pm – 17:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that operations are carried out in adherence to Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
- Lead & direct the operations team in the safe movement of products throughout the supply chain from goods in receipt to final-mile delivery.
- Champion Health & Safety in all aspects of the operation, ensuring that the company's zero accident culture is promoted and worked to.
- Align with all legal compliance regulations & company SOP's to safeguard product integrity and cool-chain stipulations.
- Manage warehouse colleagues to deliver operational and customer service excellence.
- Encourage open communication – expressing thoughts clearly, accurately and precisely both verbally, and in writing. Reacting appropriately while listening and understanding the views of others. Helping others see a different point-of-view.
- Provide a service to customers that meet the targets of the business with regards to order fill, delivery on-time, and professional customer service
- Ensuring the team is adequately trained and have on-going developmental opportunities.
- Be an integral part of the warehouse team and across the wider business – building relationships and a teamwork ethos.
- Be involved and lead, if relevant, any projects that are required to support the business strategy.
- Ensure that warehouse colleagues are briefed on a daily basis and any actions or issues are resolved in a timely manner.
