Location: Shipley, UK (with UK and potential European travel)

Reed recrutiment are working on behalf of an established Manufacturing company based in Shipley. Ur client is seeking a Creative Artworker to join their dynamic team. This role involves working on design briefs and guidelines to create visual presentations and art layouts for heavy goods vehicles. The Creative Artworker will report to the UK Country Manager & Commercial Director and will work closely with the Local General Manager and cross-functional teams.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Liaise directly with clients to prepare visual concepts and presentations, ensuring customer approval of final artwork
  • Manage customer-related activities such as illustrations, layouts, colours, copy, text, and customer data maintenance with accuracy and timeliness
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers, connecting key team members with internal stakeholders
  • Manage and grow business through positive client relationships, promoting products and technologies
  • Communicate and manage customer changes, resolving conflicts and providing successful solutions
  • Maintain accurate design details and progress on key system software
  • Proofread designs to maintain a high standard of work
  • Coordinate regularly with functions such as Purchasing, Logistics, and Production to ensure on-time delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Mac OS, and MS Office suite
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm for design, creative flair, and a flexible approach
  • Eligible to live and work in the UK
  • Full Clean UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in 2D design
  • Knowledge of various printing techniques.
