Job Overview:
As a Key Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of over 120 client accounts, ranging from SMEs to lower enterprise-level businesses. Your role will be to develop and strengthen existing relationships through a consultative sales approach, identifying opportunities for additional sales within these accounts to ensure they have the right cyber security solutions in place. This role is perfect for a seasoned account manager with expertise in Cyber Security and a proven track record in retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities
:
- Manage an existing portfolio of 120+ accounts, ranging from SMEs to lower enterprise clients, and cultivate strong, lasting relationships.
- Use a consultative sales approach to understand each client's unique security needs and recommend tailored solutions, including both in-house SOC services and third-party offerings.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities to enhance each client's security profile, leveraging products from partners like Barracuda, Bitdefender, and KnowBe4.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and optimal service delivery.
- Conduct regular account reviews, and accurately forecast and report on account performance to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Stay informed about cyber security trends, threats, and new technologies to provide clients with proactive insights and guidance.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Proven experience in a Key Account Manager or similar role within the Cyber Security industry.
- Strong track record in account management, including client retention, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Demonstrated consultative sales skills, with the ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
- Familiarity with third-party cyber security products (e.g. Barracuda, Bitdefender, KnowBe4).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
