Robert Half is collaborating with a rapidly growing global business based in Rosyth to recruit a Senior Project Accountant. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting multiple projects simultaneously, partnering with project managers and operational teams, and providing comprehensive project reporting to the business unit. The successful candidate will also manage one direct report.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the month-end process, ensuring the timely delivery of all project-related month-end outputs.
- Act as a business partner, conducting monthly reviews with operational teams to ensure project alignment.
- Influence and challenge stakeholders to drive project performance and improvements.
- Manage the forecasting and budgeting for all projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Take ownership of the monthly rolling forecast and integrate it into the annual budget process.
- Provide cash management reporting and weekly forecasts to maintain financial control.
- Deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliations related to projects, regularly reviewing them with key stakeholders.
- Perform IFRS 15 revenue recognition calculations for projects, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Qualified Finance Professional (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, ICAS, CA).
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge and experience of IFRS 15 is advantageous.
