Graduate IT Support Engineer

A tech manufacturer is currently searching for a Graduate IT Support Engineer to join their Team.
The Graduate IT Support Engineer will be responsible for supporting users and networks across several UK offices.

TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: from Monday to Friday
SALARY: £28k + Area Allowance + Quarterly Bonus
START: ASAP
LOCATION: Uxbridge/ Heathrow with ad hoc travel to support other offices

Graduate IT Support Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Management and support of IT equipment and phones for all staff
  • Being the first point of contact and support for all IT issues that arise
  • IT infrastructure and security across all offices
  • Ordering and inventory control including, but not limited to IT and phone equipment
  • Installation of IT workstations via software distribution (PC systems, laptops, operating systems and company specific software)
  • Support of problems with various Microsoft components
  • Various IT projects including company intranet and new system implementation
  • Basic level network infrastructure support and management
  • Management of Active Directory, Exchange, Windows 10 / 11 and Office365. With 3rd line escalation when required.
  • IT supplier related activities e.g., Procurement

Graduate IT Support Engineer Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • Must hold a full driving licence
  • Open, clear and confident communicator, both written and oral
  • Logical and precise thinker with a good head for numbers
  • Target-orientated mentality with the ability to self-evaluate and innovate
  • Good team worker and collaborator
  • Able to work both independently to defined objectives
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Capable of multi-tasking whilst maintaining high attention to detail
  • Experience working in a professional environment is an advantage
