Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment are collaborating with an engineering and manufacturing company.

In this Digital Marketing Manager role within their small and busy global marketing function to lead on planning, developing, implementing, and managing the overall digital marketing strategy.

The Digital Marketing Manager will be able to oversee and enhance our website across multiple languages. This role involves collaborating with external partners to strengthen our online presence, guiding customers through their purchasing journey by ensuring they have access to all necessary information, and monitoring performance metrics to track the effectiveness of these efforts. Another key focus is to support delivery of digital projects in line with strategic objectives and the marketing communications plan.

The Digital Marketing Manager will take proactive ownership of digital marketing projects, ensuring full engagement with all necessary stakeholders, to deliver best-in-class marketing support for the global business, ensuring all work is undertaken in line with the wider business strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Head of Marcoms & Branding, build, plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy for, prepare and manage digital marketing budget
  • Define and implement the development plan for web presence
  • Maintain the company website and direct organic traffic towards it through content marketing, social media, and SEO efforts.
  • Creation of content for the website, social media, advertising, presentations etc, including copywriting and layout design.
  • Ensure team members and colleagues from across the business are fully trained to support where needed on digital content.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices, and drive continuous improvement in digital marketing activities
  • Measure ROI and KPIs of digital campaigns and provide analysis and recommendations through Google Analytics and similar tools.
  • Oversee all the company's social media accounts via Hootsuite and respond to customer engagement.
  • Manage paid ads across a suite of platforms.
  • Support effective delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, incorporating the use of digital marketing management tools such as Click Dimensions, Hootsuite, MailChimp etc
  • Manage regular email campaigns, working closely with subject matter experts from across the business (Product Lines & Business Units)
  • Creation of digital content, including webinars, podcasts and videos
  • Manage digital marketing partners including web agency, digital animation, and graphic design.
  • Support the marketing team in the coordination of large events
  • Support in the rollout of PIM (Product Information Management) system

Personal Skills:

  • Able to define and lead the delivery of digital marketing projects.
  • Good organisational and planning skills.
  • Able to collaborate and work with multiple teams and manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in relation to copywriting and design.
  • Good English language skills.

Required:

  • Knowledge of WordPress and/or other web content management systems
  • Experience in website management
  • Experience of developing and managing social media accounts
  • 3 years of hands-on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software
  • Bachelor's Degree (or relevant) in Marketing, Business or a Related Field
  • Good IT ability, with high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Planner
  • At least 5 years' experience within a marketing capacity
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Create Cloud Suite, ideally Photoshop, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
