Casanovas Recruitment Solutions is thrilled to offer an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic organisation based in Colchester as a Payroll Supervisor. Our client, a large company employing over 5,000 staff across three locations, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their motivated team, making a meaningful impact. This organisation currently processes four payrolls per month, and as the Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient payroll operations. Additionally, you will lead and develop the team to provide first-level advice and guidance regarding employee rewards, including pay and pensions.

Our client is seeking a motivated professional to take on an exciting and varied role, offering the opportunity to make a significant difference within their payroll and pension operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll and pension submissions to keep processes running smoothly.
  • Handling BACS payments and maintaining compliance with HMRC requirements, including P11Ds, PSA, and monthly RTI submissions.
  • Providing valuable payroll support to the HR Team, advising on legislation and current pension schemes.
  • Administering pension schemes efficiently, while offering responsive service to members, administrators, and internal clients.
  • Acting as a technical advisor on all areas related to rewards, payroll, and pensions.
  • Reconciling pension contributions and resolving payment queries to maintain accuracy.
  • Conducting monthly reconciliation of bank accounts to ensure financial integrity.
  • Utilising your in-depth knowledge of pension legislation to ensure compliance and keep policies up to date.
  • Preparing KPI reports that provide insights into payroll and pension performance.
  • Creating and maintaining payroll and pension procedures for streamlined operations.
  • Collaborating closely with the Employee Relations and Rewards Teams to support overall employee satisfaction and wellbeing.
