Your new job
Your new job will be working as a Year 4 teaching assistant at an Ofsted-rated Outstanding Primary School in Warwick. The school has great transport links for non-drivers. The hours are ideally 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday to Friday) with one late day until 5:30 PM to cover after-school club. However, these hours can be flexible for the right candidate, with the minimum hours being 8:40 AM to 3:30 PM.
Your new role
In this job you will be
- Supporting Year 4 students in their learning and development and assisting with intervention work, particularly focusing on the KS2 curriculum.
- Contribute to maintaining an outstanding learning environment.
- You will be expected to provide targeted support to Year 4 students, tailoring interventions to their specific needs, and assist struggling students with comprehension, numeracy, and literacy skills.
- Collaborate with teachers and develop engaging activities and resources to reinforce learning objectives.
What you'll need to succeed
- A relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience working in a similar role.
- Familiarity with primary education and an understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- A genuine interest in supporting students' learning and development.
- Flexibility to adjust to the needs of individual students.
