We Do Group are delighted to be managing an exclusive search to hire a new FP&A Analyst to join a consumer focussed business in Woking that genuinely improves the lives of people every day.

The key to this role is having the right attitude—someone who is both analytically minded and people-centric. This is an excellent opportunity to add real commercial value to the business.

We are ideally looking for someone who has at least 2 years of FP&A experience, preferably you'll be actively studying towards your accounting qualification but are open to non-studiers with the right experience and motivation.

Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you'll support the consolidation of the UKI forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis as required by leadership.

As the FP&A Analyst you will work closely with the Business Partners and provide strategic analysis for financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis and other projects requested for senior management.

The Role

The successful FP&A Analyst will be involved in the following:

  • Provide insight to Finance Leadership to support the creation of the overall business plans
  • Build good working relationships with Business Partners, providing insightful analysis that drive their vertical's profitable growth
  • Working with the Business Partners to develop the annual business plans, budgets and cash flow projections and finalizing the outputs
  • Gather data and other inputs from appropriate sources for the budgets and forecasts and upload the data and carry out control checks
  • Conduct analysis, provide insight and commentary by working closely with Business Partners and the Management Accounts teams
  • Integration and maintenance of Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports via standard ways of working throughout the group
  • Contribute to process excellence by identifying improvement opportunities to make the process leaner and effective

Your Profile

  • At least 2 years experience in a FP&A or Business Partnering role
  • Knowledge of HFM, Salesforce and IFS highly desired but not necessary
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent business analysis skills and proficiency with analytical tools
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
