Head of Finance - Risk & Controls - Hybrid Working
Our client, a leading Insurance company, are looking to hire an interim Head of Finance to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be hybrid working.
As the ideal candidate, you will have strong experience of Risk & Controls.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee financial operations related to contract management and administration.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor contract performance and financial metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective contract execution.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in contract finance management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in finance management within the insurance / financial services industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software.
