Position: HR Systems and Benefits Analyst
Location: Bolton – Hybrid Working
Salary: Up to£30,000 DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic HR Systems and Benefits Analyst to join our team!

About the Role:

As part of the People Services team, the HR Systems and Benefits Analyst will act as the first point of contact for all People system and data related enquiries. They will provide an efficient and comprehensive system administration support, produce people matrix reports as and when required by the People and Data System Manager. This role will ensure thorough administration of the HR database and ensure all regulatory requirements are adhered to.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide detailed support for all People related policy, procedure and system enquiries ensuring queries are resolved, sign posted or escalate accordingly.

  • Provide administrative support for all systems related queries and processes. These duties will include, but are not limited to;

  • Creating Workflows

  • Data Importing

  • Screen Design

  • Reporting

  • Job and Salary Changes

  • Document Management

  • Action change requests made in Access.

  • Process personal and contractual changes on Access, issue letters related to contractual changes as required in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Input sickness / absence / unpaid leave.

  • Maternity/Paternity and Adoption administration.

  • Process leavers and associated correspondence.

  • Produce offer contracts and all pre-employment checks are completed

  • Administration of DBS renewals in line with group policy using the online portal.

  • Ensure effective diary management and attend any team meetings or conference calls as required.

  • Take responsibility for personal filing and manage any departmental filing as and when required.

  • Attend/complete mandatory training identified for the role.

  • The post holder will be expected to assist the People Administration Team particularly during busy periods or when colleagues are on leave. The tasks include: telephone answering and transferring to the relevant staff member, HR inbox monitoring, greeting guests as they arrive to the building, franking outgoing post and collecting incoming post.

  • Supporting in maintaining data accuracy across all systems

Essential:

  1. Experience as a systems administrator, HR administrator or similar role.
  2. Access HR expertise
  3. Excellent organisational skills to manage a significant number of tasks with strict deadlines.
  4. Excellent Communication Skills
  5. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  6. Accurate with high attention to detail
  7. Effective team member and able to provide cover for and support to other team members.
