HR & People Operations Manager

We are delighted to be working with this global brand name based in Gloucestershire that are recruiting a People & HR Operations Manager on a 12 month FTC to cover a period of maternity.

Working closely with the Head of People Operations and HR Business Partners, you will lead a team of HR Administrators and HRIS to support a headcount of c.2,500 on a global basis. The team is responsible for operationally delivering the people strategy across the entire employee lifecycle. This will include:

  • Being the focal point for the employee experience including wellbeing, inclusion and engagement
  • Playing a key part in initiating and leading people related change programmes
  • Ensuring operational excellence across all people policies, processes and procedures
  • Managing performance and ER issues
  • Managing all annual employee lifecycle processes to include pay and bonus reviews, appraisals and reviews etc
  • To ensure all data on the HR system is up to date and audited on a regular basis.
  • Streamlining and automating processes and systems to drive continuous improvement.

In addition to the above you will also be involved in a number of HR programmes, leading on some key HR projects as the company updates and enhances a number of processes including an upgrade of the HRIS.

You will have worked in a similar generalist and operationally led HR position, that could be HR Shared Services or People/HR Operations led or equally as an HR Business Partner comfortable working in an operationally led HR role. International experience and having managed a team would be desirable but isn't essential and could therefore provide some really great exposure to someone seeking global or management experience. Technically you will have in-depth knowledge of UK employment law alongside experience across the full employee lifecycle. Ideally you will have led on the development of people processes and the delivery of change projects.

This role will suit someone who is commercially minded with a strong sense of curiosity and able to work well in a very pacey environment.

Based out of their Gloucestershire office, there is an expectation to be in the office 3 days/week. Ideally you will be able to start in September or October.
