Criminal Law Disclosure Case Reviewer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Criminal Disclosure Reviewer to join our client, a renowned law enforcement organisation. If you have a passion for the legal industry and a strong background in Criminal Law Disclosure, this is the role for you!

Location: Flexible working, with offices based in Central London (Embankment).

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake a comprehensive review of material on digital review platforms, identifying relevant and sensitive information.
  • Identify material capable of meeting the test for disclosure (undermine/assist)
  • Attend team meetings and contribute to ongoing case discussions.
  • Accurately and consistently review large volumes of material within set deadlines.
  • Recognise potentially privileged information and refer it to the appropriate team members.

Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of the Disclosure process and the relevant legislation, specifically the CPIA.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery Review Platforms and Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Ability to understand complex and technical information.
  • Strong prioritisation and multitasking skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written/oral communication skills.

Desirable:

  • Criminal law experience or exposure to economic crime investigations.
