We are delighted to be partnering with a PE backed business on a growth trajectory located in Rochdale in the recruitment of an assistant accountant.
Role
This role will be a huge appeal to someone wanting exposure to the whole finance function. Reporting to the Financial controller duties include:
- Support FC & CFO with month end reporting
- Bookkeeping responsibilities of both purchase ledger and sales ledger
- Monitor accrual and prepayment position with supporting variance analysis
- Bank reconciliations
- Calculating VAT according to operating country legislation
- Mailbox monitoring and handling of queries
Person
- Previous experience gained within finance
- Studying – AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA
- Hands on experience of supporting with month end reporting
- Knowledge of multi-currency, desirable
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
