Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Garretts Green

Part time

20 hours a week

£11,897-£15,000

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-orientated and organized Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks.

Duties:

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Perform data entry to update and maintain financial records
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Utilize accounting software Xero.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to support various financial projects
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
  • Handle inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding financial matters

Experience:

  • Proven experience working in an accounting or finance role
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Stirling but not essential as training will be given
  • Strong understanding of financial services and principles
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work well on their own and part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
