The Role:
As a Senior Data Analyst, your primary focus will be on building and enhancing dashboards and visualisations (using Looker Studio) that provide actionable insights for business strategy and member experience. This role is suited to those who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and possess the commercial awareness to see the bigger picture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and refine data models in BigQuery that align with business insights and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the creation and optimisation of dashboards in Looker Studio, ensuring they deliver clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with various teams to define technical requirements and translate them into effective, visually compelling data visualisations.
  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends and provide insights that influence decision-making and enhance member experiences.
  • Uphold data quality and governance standards to ensure reliable outputs.
  • Act as an analytics advocate, helping stakeholders understand and leverage data to maximise membership value.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable expertise in data visualisation and dashboard creation, with a strong focus on Looker Studio and BigQuery. (previous Looker experience is essential)
  • Advanced SQL skills with a solid background in database management.
  • Minimum of 4 years in a data analytics role, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking skills, able to interpret data in the context of broader business objectives.
  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Preferred degrees: Economics, Maths, or Science - providing a natural fit for the role's commercial and insights-driven focus.
  • Enthusiasm for an innovative, less conventional corporate culture.
