As the Interim Data Migration Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless transition of our client's data systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the data migration process while ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal disruption to their business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end data migration project, including planning, execution, and post-migration support.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and establish data migration timelines and milestones.
- Conduct data mapping, transformation, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity throughout the migration process.
- Coordinate with IT teams, data analysts, and other relevant departments to ensure a smooth migration process.
Key Requirements

Business Analysis - able to analyse business processes, identify data flows, data owners and access controls, and data retention rules, identify any gaps, and establish mitigations.

Tooling - proficient in use of the appropriate tooling:

to establish data integrity exception reporting and programmatic remediation of any data gaps and inconsistencies in line with the implemented ALM methodology; and

to automate data extraction and transformation from source systems to target data load formats as specified by Systems Integrators; and
-
where required, to develop data validation checks to support data migration signoffs by the Data and Business Insights Lead and Data Owners.

Fully conversant with GDPR requirements.

Data Analysis - adept at analysing data, identifying patterns, and drawing meaningful insights to support data cleanse and data migration activities.

Data Quality Management - able to formulate data quality and integrity checks.

Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and quality in all data cleanse and data migration activities.

Communication: able to communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

Important - experienced and knowledgeable in the Microsoft ERP stack, especially Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
