We are delighted to announce an opening for a Year 3/4 Teacher at our lovely new school. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and creative educator who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children during these pivotal years of their education.
Day to day of the role:
- Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students and align with the National Curriculum.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all students can achieve their potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and curiosity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons, activities, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of their child's progress and how they can support their learning at home.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Years 3 and 4.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with educational research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents.
