Reservations Coordinator

I am recruiting for an upbeat and energetic Reservations Coordinator to join my client, a boutique management who supply student housing and short-let apartments. The role is 5 days a week in the office. They are a fast growing company and their overall goal is to deliver the best ‘home away from home' experience for guests, to be yourself and feel at home without lengthy contracts and unreliable landlords!!

This is a full-time on-site role for a Reservations Coordinator based at our head office in Borough. You will be responsible for managing reservations, communicating with customers and providing excellent customer service. They will also assist with sales and perform receptionist duties

Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assist guests with reservation inquiries, provide detailed information about our accommodations, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Work closely with other departments to optimise room inventory, maximise revenue, and ensure exceptional guest experiences. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk teams to maintain high service standards.
  • Generate and analyse reservation reports to identify trends, monitor performance metrics, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Prioritise and respond to emails in a timely manner, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround time.
  • Adhere to daily tasks outlined in the reservations checklist to maintain operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Liaise with universities, students and third-party bookers for payment processing and booking confirmations. marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract target audiences.
  • Attend relevant networking events to build local connections, promote the companies' offerings, and establish a strong industry presence.

To be considered for this role you must possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven experience in hotel reservations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in reservation systems and MS Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous (Smoobu & Cloudbeds).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
