Our Client are a well-established and international recognised manufacturer who are seeking an Apprentice Trainer - Engineering based in Bedford on a part-time temporary basis. They are looking for someone to help train and develop their Apprentice engineers and who is available to start mid-August for several months.
Responsibilities of the Apprentice Trainer – Engineering
- Prepare and deliver a basic training programme to apprentices.
- Lead the initial 13 week training programme.
- Create lesson plans.
- Demonstrate and coach apprentices to develop basic hand tool skills.
- Facilitate trips to suppliers and subcontractors.
- Keep progress records.
Requirements for a successful Apprentice Trainer - Engineering
- Engineering background.
- Experience training and leading apprentices previously.
- A passion for teaching younger generations.
- Able to communicate well with junior staff.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Experience creating and developing lesson plans.
Summary of the Associate Apprentice Trainer - Engineering role
Salary: £17 per hour
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Temporary for 3 months
Hours: 32 hours, 4 day working week Tuesday - Friday
