We are recruiting for a Business Analyst for a large public sector in Leeds to work in the IT department as part of a large IT roleout.
This position offers hybrid working and the opportunity to join the business at a time of major growth and significant investment.
You will have significant knowledge and experience of business modelling techniques and project management principles and ideally PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies.
Some of key responsibilities will include;
- Work effectively with senior business and technology stakeholders, conducting analysis at strategic and operational levels and assuring the feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Take a holistic view of the business situations analysed, ensure that stakeholder perspectives are identified and considered with a view to designing the right solution, so that business objectives and requirements are understood and produce a context with which recommended solutions are aligned.
- Utilise business knowledge and experience to assess and advise on the feasibility and relevance of proposed options for business and technical change.
- Lead the detailed specification and modelling of new solutions using standards, methods and techniques as required
- Work with colleagues within related disciplines such as business operations, software engineering and service delivery functions to support the deployment of business and technical changes
