Central London based position, Hybrid working + Travel

Base salary from £30K + Bonus + Benefits

Early career role suited to a graduate with 6-12 months of commercial business experience; recruitment, media sales, research etc. You need to be able to work from this organisations London office 3 set days each week.

In this Conference Producer role, you will be responsible for researching and producing a large-scale conference held in the UK. Your main tasks include researching the market (phone/zoom), writing the event programme, finding and securing speakers and working with the wider events team to deliver the event. You will be the face of the event for the organisation, you will attend the event and be excited to meet your speakers, sponsors and delegates.

The role - Conference Producer

  • Produce a high quality programme for a large scale UK infrastructure conference.
  • Carry out phone and desk based research with industry leaders to develop unique programme content and to enable you to curate exciting and informative content. working with relevant advisory boards and partners to support the agenda development.
  • Speaker recruitment - Identify, invite, confirm, brief and manage high-level speakers for your event. There is a high level of interest from professionals to speak at this annual conference.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce innovative content to support event marketing campaigns
  • Work alongside sponsorship sales and provide support and guidance during the event cycle
  • Project manage the internal event delivery team across marketing, sales, editorial and event operations.
  • Ensure deadlines are met, speaker targets are achieved and the event is successful

Your experience & skills:

For this Conference Producer role, we need an ambitious and driven professional who can create outstanding agendas and develop relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

  • You will have outstanding professional communication skills (written and spoken), be comfortable leading meetings and speaking in public and be a natural relationship builder.
  • Successful track record meeting deadlines and targets
  • Able to take responsibility and work calmly under pressure
  • Excellent organisation, time management and multitasking skills
  • Copy-writing skills would be advantageous
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, you need to be confident in building and managing internal and external relationships
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, confident, and driven
  • Commercial mindset
  • Team orientated and able to lead a project
  • Super attention to detail
  • Be comfortable in front of people, in meetings and at events. You will become the face / brand for this large scale high profile industry event

For this position, you must be UK based and not require employer sponsorship/visa to work in a permanent position.
