Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Planner to join a vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and residential planning, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual looking to advance their career within a leading consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage planning applications and appeals for a variety of commercial and residential projects.
  • Provide strategic planning advice to clients, ensuring all projects align with local and national planning policies.
  • Conduct site appraisals and feasibility studies to assess development potential.
  • Coordinate and liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare and present reports, planning statements, and other relevant documentation.
  • Mentor and support junior planners, fostering their professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Town Planning or a related field.
  • Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or eligibility for membership.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning role, with a focus on commercial and residential projects.
  • Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
