A leading technology manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Southampton is recruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to provide value adding analysis and reporting to a key business unit. Supporting the FP&A Manager the key responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analyst include:-
- Production of management accounts, analysis and commentary
- Business partnering the manufacturing team reviewing performance and making recommendations for improvements
- Stock reporting, analysis and reconciliations
- New product and capex analysis / investment appraisals
- Supporting the month end close
- Production of KPIs and reporting to Group
The successful candidate will ideally:-
- Be a qualified accountant, although a late stage studier or QBE would be considered
- Possess excellent analytical and excel skills
- Have previous experience working in manufacturing in a similar analytical / cost accounting role
