You'll be a vital part of our finance department, providing essential support to the Management Accountant in managing the company's financial records and transactions. You'll work closely with the finance team to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes, contributing to the overall success of our luxury brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the Management Accountant in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements.
- Help with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct cost analysis and assist in cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
- Assist in year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
You'll have:
- AAT qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar role, preferably within the travel or luxury goods sector.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
