Temporary Business Support Associate

Are you experienced with procurement, administration, and stakeholder management? Are you expert when it comes to fast paced and accurate clerical support?

If you are available to work between 26-30 hours per week and are flexible to increase or decrease based on the workload, this exciting assignment in a global business could be perfect for you! The assignment will be ongoing for a year, so you must be available to commit to this.

Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role is to start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

Temporary Business Support Associate Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient administrative, organizational, logistical business support, including:

  • Being responsible for procurement coordination across a range of teams - this will include preparing, tracking and processing requisitions and purchase orders using various systems
  • Proactive invoice management
  • Providing administrative support for contracts and sponsorship processes for international events
  • Providing support at on-site and off-site meetings
  • Collaborating closely with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting with a broad range of administrative tasks, including for other teams, as required.

Temporary Business Support Associate Requirements

  • Proven administration skills, gained within a fast paced, global setting
  • Experience with procurement support
  • A "can do" attitude; able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well and deliver under pressure, managing the needs of all levels of stakeholders in a global environment
  • Ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously with appropriate prioritization
  • Accurate, with an eye for detail
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside of "normal" hours in order to meet business demands

Our client is based in Oxford (OX4) – there is plenty of parking on site and the offices are exceptional.
