My client are a niche, specialist company looking for a Junior Buyer / Expediter to join their busy team.
Reporting to the office manager you will be responsible for management of assigned pre-purchase enquires from obtaining supplier quotation through to purchase order and delivery to the end user. Other duties will include:
- Maintain accurate and clear records ensuring activity tracking and demonstrating methodology
- Ensure on time delivery
- Purchase order progress monitoring and updating
- Monitoring and tracking daily/weekly supplier deliveries to shippers in UK, USA or direct from country of origin to point of delivery
- Identifying alternative suppliers for engineering
Experience needed:
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Strong admin skills
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
Working hours:
- Monday - Friday 0900am - 1730pm
