My client one of the largest firefighting and rescue organisations in the world seek an experienced DEI Strategic Lead.

An immediate start is available for a DEI Strategic Lead to oversee the design and delivery of organisation-wide DEI evaluation interventions. This role is central to the programme management of the DEI Strategy (2024-2027), focusing on building staff capability and supporting cultural change across the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead the design and delivery of DEI evaluation interventions across the organisation.
  • Manage the Evaluation strand of the DEI Strategy, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and cultural change.
  • Collaborate with various teams to design DEI evaluation and reporting interventions that meet the diverse needs of all staff and the communities served.
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to effectively communicate and promote DEI initiatives.
  • Lead and develop multidisciplinary evaluation initiatives within the DEI team.
  • Ensure resources are managed effectively to support the DEI evaluation programme.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in leading and managing educational interventions, particularly in DEI.
  • Adaptable, proactive, innovative, and detail-oriented with the ability to develop multidisciplinary initiatives.
  • Organised individual with an eye for detail and experience in evaluation intervention design or management.
  • Background in policy development is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and internet browsing.
