Working as part of a high-performing and highly regarded procurement and contract management team, this role has huge levels of executive sponsorship, profile and excellent development opportunities. With 8 weeks holiday available combined with an exceptionally high pension and benefits package, this role will have autonomy for a range of high-value contracts and be responsible for all activities post-contract award.
There is a need to work out of their Cambridgeshire Head Office 2 days per week with flexibility on working hours available. Key areas of focus will pertain to: the day-to-day management of business-critical contracts across the organisation; working with individual contracts across Indirect categories of spend ranging in value from £5m - £20m; strategically manage relationships with key suppliers; manage KPIs/Service Level Agreements, advise and coach stakeholders on best practice, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
To succeed in this role, you will require demonstrable contract management experience with an understanding of best practice and processes in procurement. With exceptional communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a flexible and emotionally intelligent approach to stakeholder management across a range of stakeholders. With the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, you will have high attention to detail and be able to demonstrate a self-motivated and solutions-focused approach to your work.
