Network Automation Engineer
London (2 days x week onsite)
£65k-£75k
One of our longstanding clients are looking for an experienced Network Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. For this role we are looking for someone to help drive automation, enhance reliability of the infrastructure and act as the subject matter expert for network automation.
In this role you will make a real impact to the organisations infrastructure as well as supporting the network roadmap and delivery plans! Unfortunately, this is not an entry level position, and all candidates must hold either citizenship for their own full right to work/remain in the UK. Overseas candidates will not be considered.
The Role:
- Design, Build and Support the various network automation products
- Integration of new network products
- Enhance reliability of the network, whilst reducing toil
- Automate deployments, documentation, monitoring, configurations ect!
- Input to the network roadmap
Requirements:
- Experience within a network automation position
- Confident picking up network automation projects and running with them
- Some experience with Python, Ansible and/or GIT
- MPLS and/or BGP
- Some Linux experience
There is a number of interesting projects on the horizon including setting up a new office, service developments and even the need to develop a new service, so it's a great opportunity to build on your current skills, whilst gaining new experience.
