A young and dynamic construction company, dedicated to delivering high-end private residential projects, is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Thame, Oxfordshire.

The successful Quantity Surveyor will work on exciting design-led projects in a positive, challenging, and supportive environment, offering individualised training and numerous career progression opportunities.

The Quantity Surveyor's Role

  • Delivering contractually robust tenders to meet deadlines
  • Managing contracts accurately and professionally
  • Procuring and managing subcontractor and supplier accounts post-tender
  • Conducting project valuation, forecasting, and financial submission
  • Involvement in tender processes and contract negotiations
  • Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with clients, architects, PQS firms, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Working methodically, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

The Quantity Surveyor's Experience

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
  • Strong knowledge of contract law and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools
  • Ability to work methodically and accurately
  • MRICS qualification preferred but not essential
