The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Finance Manager on behalf of a specialist Sales and Distribution business with offices based in Welwyn Garden City.
The Role
As Finance Manager you will work closely with the Finance Director and take responsibility for all day to day finance, management reporting and the management of a small team. Day to day duties will consist of:
- Month end including processing of journals, prepayments, accruals, commission calculations; cashbook, fixed asset register and stock and corporation tax
- Maintain cashbooks and bank reconciliations. Raise non AP and salary payments.
- P&L and Balance sheet variance analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Management of staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of all supplier and customer transactions
- Produce accurate and timely monthly management
- Monthly payroll calculations and entry for UK.
- Ensure all statutory records and payments are up to date.
- Quarterly VAT calculation and submission for UK
Your Profile
You will be an experienced Qualified or QBE Accountant looking for a new challenge within a profitable and fast paced business with operations across the UK and Worldwide. The role will be based 5 days in the office with an early finish on a Friday.
