Altum are currently supporting a charity dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, to recruit an permanent Recruitment Manager. The organisation believe that their people are their greatest asset, and are looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to help them attract and retain top talent.

As the Recruitment Manager, you will be responsible for leading their recruitment strategy, ensuring they attract diverse, high-quality candidates who align with their mission. You will oversee two Recruitment Coordinators, driving a cohesive approach to talent acquisition while fostering an inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy that aligns with our organisational goals and enhances our employer brand.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to identify current and future hiring needs, ensuring alignment with the charity's strategic objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of two Recruitment Coordinators, providing guidance and support to elevate their performance and professional development.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: Champion initiatives that promote diversity in recruitment and create a welcoming environment for all candidates.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with hiring managers to develop role profiles and facilitate workshops on best recruitment practices.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilise recruitment metrics and analytics to inform strategy, drive continuous improvement, and present findings to senior management.
  • External Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with external organisations and agencies to enhance our talent pipeline and outreach efforts.

To be considered for the role you will need:

  • Proven experience in a strategic recruitment role, preferably within the charity or nonprofit sector.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, employment law, and diversity initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset, with a passion for making a difference.
