Our client is a highly profitable and ambitious financial service business that has grown from scratch to c.£400m annual sales and over 600 head office staff, servicing over £30bn of assets under management and 20% of the UK financial adviser marker in approx. 17 years since inception. Its cutting-edge Technology function and people have grown and progressed with the company, now a team of c.50 developing robust and secure applications used internally and by its B2B and B2C customers throughout the UK. The company is on the next stage of its phenomenal journey and we're now looking to help further strengthen the Data team, by appointing a first-rate Data Analyst.

Reporting to the Head of Data, you will play a key team role in in developing insights across the organisation, building efficient decision-making capabilities for business leaders and managers. Your key responsibilities as Data Analyst will include:

  • Analysing behaviours, inputs, and outputs to identify trends - providing actionable insights which will inform strategic development and decision-making
  • Developing key performance indicators
  • Preparing regular, accurate weekly and monthly reports
  • Work closely with business leaders and managers
  • Ensuring data integrity, cleanliness, freshness
  • Market research and competitor analysis to inform decision-making

As Data Analyst you'll offer:

  • Previous experience in a similar Data Analyst role developing insights, visual reports, KPI scorecards and dashboards using Power BI, Fabric, Synapse, Tableau, Excel and similar
  • Bachelor's or equivalent Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering,

Computer Science, Business, Economics

  • Proficiency with Business Intelligence, Data Modelling, Data Visualisation
  • Detail focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Initiative, adaptability and strong problem-solving skills

Rewards and Benefits:

  • Salary £25,000 to £40,000 + bonus (£6k) + pension + benefits
