System Accountant (Contract)

We are seeking a highly skilled System Accountant for a 9-month contract to assist with a critical system implementation project. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in interim positions, with extensive experience in system upgrades and implementations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of the new accounting system.
- Analyse current financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Configure and test the new system to ensure it meets business requirements.
- Provide training and support to users on the new system.
- Manage data migration and ensure the integrity of financial data during the transition.
- Work closely with IT and finance departments to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues.
- Prepare regular progress reports and documentation related to the system implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in system accounting and successful system implementation projects.
- Strong background in finance or accounting with relevant qualifications.
- Excellent track record in interim roles, demonstrating reliability and expertise.
- Proficiency in various accounting software and system configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and training abilities.
