Assistant Accountant
to join our client on a permanent basis!
The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work within an innovative and growing company. This role offers the opportunity to develop your skills and experience by working within a friendly and dynamic team.
- Full-Time, Permanent position.
- 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
- £28,000pa
- 20 days holiday (plus bank holidays).
Key accountabilities
- Credit control and credit card reconciliations
- Sales invoicing and accounts receivable
- purchase orders and purchase invoice processing
- data extraction and analysis including debtor reports and sales variance.
- Monitoring finance emails and answering telephone queries.
Skills & experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Accountant would be preferred
- Relevant qualifications would be preferred.
- Able to analyse and present data in a clear and concise manner.
- A good knowledge of Sage 200 and how it can interact with other areas of business.
- Comfortable with extracting and analysing data from Excel.
- Good organisational skills and able to work under own initiative.
