Active Recruitment are working with an Outstanding mainstream Primary school in St Albans, who are seeking a full time Key Stage 2 Teacher start in September 2024 on a permanent basis. The school is very welcoming and friendly in addition to providing a safe, inclusive environment for all students to feel valued. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to support the development and educational progress of their students

Duties and Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:
- Plan and teach well-structured lessons following the school curriculum
- To plan lessons and activities to meet pupils individual learning needs
- To use a range of appropriate strategies and follow school policies for teaching, behaviour management and classroom management
- Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievement of pupils
- Adapt teaching and lessons to meet the needs of all students
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
