IT Director required by my leading client based in Portsmouth. You will be recruited to work in a market leading company providing guidance and strategy to the department and company as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the IT department, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's overall objectives and drives innovation.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timeline requirements.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of all IT systems and data.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software applications.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and partners to leverage the best technologies and services for the organization.
- Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar senior IT leadership role.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and best practices.
- Experience with project management and IT budgeting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
