Role
Working alongside a progressive Finance Director, you will develop, implement and maintain a robust financial control environment across the breadth of the Firm; drive financial performance through improved reporting, developing the team to be business partners to the fee earning teams; and support and implement the wider business strategy. Playing a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the firm's financial performance, you will lead the finance team and collaborate closely with senior management to drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard firm assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk effectively, in alignment with firm goals and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance team.
About You
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a finance team.
- Expertise in financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- ACA Qualified, ideally from Big4
