Description
As a Contaminants - Team Lead in High Wycombe you will:
- Lead team development and organisation to enhance the chemistry offering in the contaminants lab
- Support and oversee method development and validation for a number of techniques, inclusive of GC-MS and LC-MS (qualitative and quantitative)
- Ensure compliance to necessary regulations including ISO17025 throughout
- Interact with clients when necessary to provide updates and technical insights, and reporting of data
Profile
To be successful you will have:
- Formal qualification in Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry - PhD desired but not essential
- Sound experience of utilising GC-MS inclusive of developing and validating methods
- Competent and proven ability to extract and quantify trace contaminants from complex matrices
- Leadership experience, either direct management or mentorship
- Direct experience working under an accredited QMS (ISO17025, GMP, GLP as examples
