Morgan McKinley is delighted to have partnered with continuously growing organisation in the heart and centre of Crawley, West Sussex in the appointment of an experienced Accounts Assistant, Credit Controller.
We are seeking a detailed-orientated Credit Controller to join our client on a Full Time, permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all debt collection activity in West Sussex, ensuring timely payments and maintaining the sales ledger.
Salary: £26K - £28K per annum
Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Hours: Monday - Friday (9am-6pm) - Hybrid working, 2 days from home
Accounts Receivable / Credit Controller responsibilities include:
- Preparation of monthly direct debit collection files
- Processing journal adjustments
- Preparing weekly/daily debtor reporting
- Responding to billing related queries
- Making recommendations for bad debt provisions
- Active debt collection
- Preparing weekly reconciliations
Skills & experience:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience within a sales ledger / accounts receivable / credit control
- Excellent communication and rapport building skills
